His Life Within Us

Life can’t be summed up by a fun little board game. Life is all we have. It’s a gift that keeps on giving. We all know Life. Some of us have experienced life on the brink of death, while others stay on the safe side. It is true that God granted us this second chance called Life.

He enabled a fallen people. Without His grace we were a hopeless cause. It is Jesus’ life that was sacrificed in atonement for our sin. His life made up for our imperfection. Our lives ought to mimic that. We should want to live to serve the One who served us. God is obviously on our side. He wouldn’t have paid the price for our sin one day with plans to ruin our lives the next.
So often, we are quick to remember our suffering and just as soon we forget His death. Not only did Jesus die on a cross. He suffered, he was mocked, ridiculed, and accused of being a liar. If we recognize that his blood is the blood that runs through our veins today, then we see that He is the Life within us.

Our lives can only be lived once. The way we live each and every day portrays how we view God. We are either thankful for each breath, or we stand there mocking Jesus. There are so many things begging us for our time every day, but nothing this world has to offer you is greater than the Love of God.
