Hey, everyone! Well it’s the start of the new school year! Can you believe it? Today I was looking outside and I have already seen tons of yellow leaves on the ground. Fall is already quickly approaching. Then soon it will be Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Okay, maybe I am getting way ahead of myself here, but time is going by so fast!! I have even been catching myself thinking about what gifts I am going to get for people this Christmas.
Speaking of time going by really fast; guess who’s birthday it is really soon? It’s PAM’S!!! She is going to be 21 years old on September 22nd. I totally want to tell all of you all the surprises I have in store for her this year but I can’t… she may read this and well… it wouldn’t be a surprise anymore. I remember a while back what us girls would do for each other on birthdays is decorate each other’s bedroom doors. While the birthday girl would be busy doing “birthday things” the rest of us girls at home would go crazy cutting out things, blowing up balloons, taping special chocolate treats to the door, stuff like that. It was honestly so much fun to do! Then when the birthday girl would get home they would be so “surprised” to see the masterpiece on their bedroom door.
Or I remember growing up and having themed birthday parties. I remember one particular year I was turing eight, and the theme was rabbits. So I had a bunny cake, bunny plates, bunny napkins, bunny invitations and a bunny pinata. All the girls would come dressed up in their favorite dress and pretty shoes. Those were the days… what great memories. I think another great memory would have to be my 16th birthday. My parents surprised me with a limo to take me and my friends to laser tag! I was SOOO surprised!!! I almost cried because I thought that my parents were the sweetest parents ever!! I couldn’t believe that they would do that for me.
Well, I hope this birthday will be one of the most memorable for Pam. I mean, come on, it’s the big 21!! Well I guess I should end this to my best friend… Happy early Birthday Pam
Love ya!
“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand.
When I awake,
I am still with you.”
God knows the exact year, the exact day, the exact hour, the exact minute and the exact second we are to be born!! How cool is that!?
