It’s a tired comparison, but I could care less. I’m going to use it anyway.
Rich Mullins. There, I said it. Yawn, right? So does everyone else. But there’s no way to listen to Resurrection Letters (or anything else in the Andrew Peterson discography, for that matter) without the legendary songwriter coming to mind. Mullins’ torch [...]

The rise was entirely expected. It’s the fall that threw me for a loop.

Numerous independent efforts while at Anderson University led to an independent Christian college student touring with the likes of [...]

Ruth –
We can sometimes as a band feel like Anoraks amongst our peer bands that we love and we respect. I don't know if they would care to listen to the lyrics of our songs or care what they're about. And sometimes you run into churches not wanting you to be that honest. They want you to sing about Jesus but not about how we fail or how we're broken.

Travis Taylor –
I guess what I'm trying to do as an artist/worship leader, and even as a businessman, is just be myself. I'm a songwriter who is inspired by Christ. I write songs out of that relationship. That means it can be a worship song, or it can be about my son and the blessings God has poured over my family, or it can be about humanity, etc...I just try and write from something real, and hopefully that comes across to the listener.

Disciple –
We were having so much fun while writing these new songs that we didn't have any time to think about doing this or doing that or writing this type of song. We really had the most fun we've ever had writing on this new album. There was no struggling for lyrics or music...People are asking what we're trying to do here and we're really just trying to write good songs.

Andrew Peterson –

Jill Phillips –
I don’t want to put out records if I don’t have anything new to say.

Jon McLaughlin –

Relient K –
We’re looking forward to making good sounding records while also trying to be economical with that. You do it all yourself and put your stock in that and there’s something even more satisfying about being able to do something without going down the same road as everyone else.

Ten Shekel Shirt –
I will say this: I think it's a bit dangerous if we just hear something and don't do anything about it. I don't want it to become the new thing or the buzz. This (slavery) is a real issue with real kids and real names and real difficulties.

Sevenglory –
...we prefer quality over quantity. We’re trying to figure out how to not just make it a show - just doing the music for us isn’t enough. A lot of bands have their causes and we’re trying to figure out our own purpose within that.

Concert Review: The Hillsong Experience –
...it’s my contention that a worship gathering should be, well, worshipful.
