TobyMac to Perform for the Pope

Fresh off his “Boomin’ Beyond Measure Tour” with Jeremy Camp and prior to the release of his first live album and DVD, Alive and Transported, longtime favorite TobyMac will perform at a youth rally in Yonkers, NY, which will be presided over by Pope Benedict XVI. The performance will mark the artist’s third such opportunity, having performed for the prior Pope as a member of dc Talk.

With this being a landmark visit by the Pope, the artist is understandably appreciative. He commented, “It’s an honor to participate in this Papal visit. Not too many artists are given this opportunity. We have great respect for the work he does.”

On top of the papal performance and the live album, Toby is slated to headline a number of festival tours this summer including Spirit West Coast, Icthus, Atlantafest, and more. Check out Toby’s website for exact dates!
