Sligh Nets Highest Christian Soundscan Debut

American Idol alum Chris Sligh’s debut solo album, Running Back to You, garnered the artist the highest Christian Soundscan debut this week. In addition, “Empty Me,” the lead-off single from the album, is steadily climbing the charts as well, logging in at the #23 spot on the CHR charts.

Sligh will be heading out to L.A. next week to take part in the Idol finale festivities, and will have a chance to perform at the KIIS FM Idol finale party alongside Season 5’s Ace Young.
