Calling All Artists – Immerse is Coming Soon!

Christian artists, songwriters, worship leaders – both professional and aspiring to be – will gather in Nashville this summer for Immerse, a four-day event presented by the Gospel Music Association (GMA). The event is the Christian music industry’s premiere training experience and talent competition and will feature the talents of artists as diverse as Michael W. Smith, Melinda Dolittle, Martha Munizzi, Natalie Grant, Phil Stacey and more.

Immerse is happening July 29 to August 2 on the campus of Belmont University. “The event offers unparalleled training, professional and personal feedback, one-of-a-kind concerts and a sense of community to uniquely equip creative Christians to impact culture through music both in and out of the church,” according to GMA. At Immerse, participants will train with leading industry professionals to continue to develop and hone their craft through classes, seminars, networking, Artist-in-Residence Teaching Concerts, Nightly Concerts, Songwriter Showcases and more events.  It truly is an unparalleled jump start into the world of Christian music.  Artists including Point of Grace, BarlowGirl, Stacie Orrico, Rachael Lampa, Nichole Nordeman, Casting Crowns, Jars of Clay and more have started their careers through GMA Talent Competitions.

Immerse was formerly held in Estes Park, Colorado as Music in the Rockies, but after 30 years, it was decided it was time to move the event to Nashville, the heart of the industry.
