Okay. This is the guy who wrote “Wedding Dress” about his disgust over the commercialization of Christianity. I think it was aimed at the Prayer of Jabez stuff, but don’t quote me on that. It has incredibly interesting lyrics, including the word ‘wh**e’(rhymes with ‘more.’) Someone at my previous church wanted to sing it, but the word was deemed too controversial for the Lutheran congregation. (With some explanation, I think we could have handled it - we were ELCA, after all.) This song is available at iTunes, and definitely worth a download.
This guy is honestly perhaps the best example I can point to of faith in the arts in terms of music. Glad to see him receive some respect from varied media outlets.
