Fike Signs Deal With Integrity Music Publishing

Brave World Records/Indie Extreme worship recording artist, Richie Fike of duet Fike & Dana, has recently signed a publishing deal with Integrity Music Publishing. The songs from Fike & Dana’s first 3 projects as well as those in the making will all be pitched to major Christian recording artists and marketed to worship leaders worldwide by the publishing company. Fike hopes to reach people with his lyrics, and his new alliance with Integrity has created that possibility.

Fike & Dana’s newest album entitled Make a Sound was named one of the best albums of 2009 in the October issue of Worship Leader Magazine. The album will digitally released in mid-November through the partnership Indie Extreme has with Universal Music Christian Group/Fontana Distribution. The couple has been making great advances with their music, but continue to focus the majority of their time on performing for worship services and remain completely involved in their ministry.

Through the end of November Fike & Dana are hosting a YouTube video contest. Contestants are to choose one song from Fike & Dana’s three albums or seven recordings and make a YouTube video inspired by the music. Their songs all have spiritual themes that worshippers can relate to, and Fike & Dana want to use a different approach to see how their songs inspire others. The videos will be judged by the couple on December 1, and the winner will receive airfare tickets. Fike says, “The main goal of this project is to let our fans express themselves through our music.”
